With its long neck and built-in tray, the Rispal 'Giraffe' is an object imbued with movement, ready to hold a manuscript or a precious keepsake. It embodies the 'living object' so dear to Jean Cocteau. In the artistic Paris of the 1950s, François Rispal brilliantly captured the lyricism and surrealist spirit of which the poet was a leading figure.

Available in two shades of jute, white and écru, the lampshade creates a versatile ambiance, ranging from modern chic to timeless vintage. The soft curves of the wood harmonize with the metal base in a delicate balance of form. Each fixture is adorned with an authentic Rispal-stamped brass plaque.
